Night Flight of the Wraiths: (7 players) It’s a dark and stormy night and the undead are about terrorizing the middle school. This Ensemble, written for 7 players will present your students with an ABA style piece of music. Instrumentation is: Bells, Xylophone, (Marimba), Chimes, Percussion 1 Gong, 3 Tom Tom Suspended Cymbal, Percussion 2: China Cymbal, Tambourine played on a table with sticks, Muffled Bass Drum, Percussion 3: Crash Cymbals, Thunder Tube, Water Gong, Timpani (3 drums). Pulsar! (7 players) Is a 7 piece percussion written for Tom Fries and the Hiram College Percussion Ensemble. Pulsar begins with am aleatoric opening before transforming into tuneful Written in Intro-ABA format this piece is musical and run to play. Chokin the Bell: by Harry Breuer (5 players)
Originally written for vibraphone and piano, this Ragtime solo for vibraphone accompaniment has been orchestrated for Mallet Ensemble. Vibraphone and 4 Marimbas are required. A 5 octave marimba is preferable for the bass marimba part. The vibraphone solo requires 2 and 4 mallet playing. This is one of the first ragtime

Cantique De Noel: This Christmas Hymn, also known as O Holy Night, features piano and Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Ensemble settings before combining the to create the full ensemble texture: Grade 4 $50.00

Fire and Ice: Fire and Ice portrays the dichotomy of these two primal elements. The piece begins with the band speaking saying the words “Fire” and “Ice” before building into a raging melody in C harmonic minor representing the driving and unrelenting force which is fire. The piece gives way to the middle section, Ice. This section, in Eb major is slow and flowing depicting Ice. Despite the piece and serenity of the section the first is rekindled and begins to rage once again. Grade 3 $50.00

Reflections of A Man: dedicated to Legendary Ohio Band Director Anthony Buonpane, Reflections of a Man is a Grade 4 piece in ABA form. Beginning with a Clarinet solo before moving into an Allegro Section. The Middle Section is lyrical and Features Flute, Horn and Trumpet & Oboe, The ending returns to the original A sections before a brief return to the opening one clarinet solo. Grade 4 $65.00

Seaside Sunrise: There is something magical about the ocean and watching the sunrise over the water. Beginning with the stillness of the early morning, before the first light breaks, there is a peacefulness that one feels as the waves lazily lap against the shore. Slowly, a light appears dimly on the eastern horizon, like looking down a long hallway at a fresh struct match. Brighter and brighter it grows as the sky changes from black to shades of blue, pink, purple, orange, and red. Daybreak has occurred!  The sun fills the azure-colored sky and touches us with its warmth.  From this time until dusk there is a never-ending blur of excitement, fun, and of course memories that will remain with us forever. Dedicated to Debbie Wiandt and the Crestwood Middle School 8th Grade Band in memory of Steve Wiandt, the piece features fragments of the hymn “Because He Lives” throughout. Grade 3 $50.00

Still, Still, Still, Silent Night: This work featuring settings of Still, Still, Still, and Silent Night. Based on a well-known choral version, this band setting features the colors of the modern concert band complete with fully percussion writing in mallet percussion. Grade 4 $50.00 *
